Love.Read.Learn Workshop for Elementary Schools and Families

Love.Read.Learn!™ is a program to help get parents and grandparents involved with their child’s success in school. As a child’s first teacher, parents have an incredible ability to influence the academic success and future of their child.

How Love.Read.Learn!™ Works:

  • Workshops are offered at no-cost to schools, and families. All materials and books are provided.
  • Workshops are just 75 minutes because we know parents are busy.
  • We teach parents and educators specific ways to help young children learn through everyday activities, such as creating grocery lists, mapping out vacation routes and reading sports scores together.
  • Love.Read.Learn!™ provides a free “take-home” kit filled with fun, educational activities so families can enjoy learning together at home.

Parents Love the Workshops:

  • 97% of parents reported they learned new literacy information at the workshop.
  • 99% of parents reported that following the training they would spend more time reading with their children51% daily
    37% four times a week
    9% three times a week
    2% once a month

“I am a 63-year old grandpa who just re-learned how to teach reading to my youngest grandkids and have fun while we’re at it. Thank you!” -Tennessee grandfather
